Mr. Le Quoc Chien and Ms. Dang Hieu Hanh began their journey in intellectual property in 1992 at INVESTIP, one of Vietnam’s pioneering IP firms. Mr. Chien served as Head of the Patent Department, leading complex filings and advising both local inventors and international clients on securing innovation rights in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Ms. Hanh built her career in the Trademark Department, developing deep expertise in brand protection, oppositions, and enforcement strategies
In pursuit of building a more personalized and dynamic legal service, Mr. Chien established Minh Chien & Partners in the early 2000s, with its first office located at 123 Doc Ngu, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. This marked the beginning of a new chapter, driven by a vision to provide high-quality IP services tailored to clients’ needs. During this period, Ms. Hanh was serving in the legal department of SCIC.
In 2007, Minh Chien & Partners was officially renamed ANNAM IP & LAW, continuing operations from its original Doc Ngu address. The firm’s rebranding reflected its broader ambition and expanding client base across the region.
As the team grew, ANNAM relocated to No. 10, Lane 34 Au Co Street, Tay Ho District in 2008, and eventually settled in its current location at 72 Xuan Dieu, Tay Ho, Hanoi in 2016. Each move symbolized a new stage in ANNAM’s development from humble beginnings to a recognized name in Vietnam’s IP landscape.
2016 marked a significant milestone for ANNAM IP & LAW when the firm was officially recognized as one of the Top 10 reputable Intellectual Property Representatives in Vietnam. This recognition reflects more than a decade of unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality Intellectual Property services, including trademark registration, patent protection, and industrial design services, to thousands of domestic and international clients.
In 2025, ANNAM IP & LAW continues to affirm its reputation by maintaining its position among the Top 10 Intellectual Property Representatives in Vietnam. The firm remains committed to enhancing service quality, trusted by both domestic and international clients. Through active participation in international organizations, ANNAM strengthens long-term client relationships and expands its global network for trademark, patent, industrial design, and copyright protection.
